38th Street Market - October 3rd at 10am
On Saturday, October 3rd we start the day with 38th Street Market - a project by the 38th + Chi Business Coalition. The market opens at 10am, surrounding the center fist within George Floyd Square at 38th and Chicago. This market features local farmers and growers, Plant-Grow-Share and an array of family friendly activities and vendors.
We’re excited to partner with Twin Cities Skaters to bring free skating, music and dance to 38th street! Join us starting at noon to skate 38th!
After the market, we'll set community tables down Chicago Avenue at George Floyd Square and serve a free meal with locally grown food to several hundred neighbors out of ceramic bowls and hand-forged spoons that community members made themselves over the summer.
September 5th market
