The 38th + CHI Small Business Association brings together the businesses, property owners, cultural organizations, and community partners shaping the future of the 38th Street and Chicago Avenue corridor.
We work collectively to strengthen local businesses, improve safety and access, advocate for equitable investment, and ensure the people who live and work here have a voice in what comes next.

Our Approach
We support each business while strengthening the relationships that connect the corridor. Through shared programming, resources, promotion, safety initiatives, and ongoing communication, we build collaboration across businesses, organizations, residents, and partners.
We also advocate for greater community influence over decisions affecting transportation, public space, development, safety, access, and investment—ensuring those most impacted by change help shape what comes next.
